For fruit and vegetable shops

Built for a counter where almost everything is weighed.

Tomatoes by the kilo, coriander by the bunch, bananas by the dozen, and a rate that moves with the mandi every morning. A billing app that only counts pieces turns every sale into mental arithmetic.

A DukanUp cart with a loose item weighed at 1.087 kg × ₹46/kg = ₹50, beside items counted in pieces
Sound familiar?
Tomatoes were ₹30 a kilo yesterday and ₹40 today. A customer takes 1.2 kg of them, a bunch of coriander and a dozen bananas, and the total has to be right before the next customer is already holding out a bag.
On the real app

Weighed, priced, and shown on the line

A loose item takes its weight and its rate per kilo, and the cart line shows the arithmetic: 1.087 kg × ₹46 = ₹50. Bunches, dozens and pieces sit on the same bill. The real cart from our demo shop.

What is different for a fruit and vegetable shop

Three things a general billing app misses.

Kilo, bunch and dozen on one bill

Each product carries its own unit: kilograms or grams, a bunch, a dozen or a piece. The weight goes in, the price works itself out, and the line shows how, so a 750 g sale is never billed as a kilo.

Rates that change every morning

Change a rate in a few taps before the shutter goes up, and every bill from then on uses it. Yesterday’s bills keep yesterday’s rate, so the day’s sales still add up.

Spoiled stock, written off honestly

Record what went bad as a stock loss with its reason, damaged or expired, so the stock count stays true and the loss shows up instead of quietly eating the margin.

Questions from fruit & vegetable shops

What owners ask us first.

Can I sell by weight and by the piece on the same bill?

Yes. Each product has its own unit, kilogram, gram, dozen, bundle or piece, and one bill can carry all of them.

My rates change every day. Is that a lot of work?

Changing a rate is a quick edit on the product, and every bill after it uses the new rate. Bills already made keep the rate they were made at.

Does it work at a market stall with weak signal?

Yes. Billing runs from the phone with no internet, and the bills upload themselves when the signal comes back.

Not quite a fruit and vegetable shop? That is fine.

DukanUp fits any shop that buys stock in at one rate and sells it at another: a general store, a cosmetics or gift shop, a pooja samagri counter, whatever yours is called. The till, the khata, the stock and the purchase register work the same way regardless of what is on the shelf.
